THE SILVER CROSS

Cruz de Plata

Capitan Silver’s 100%-owned Cruz de Plata project is located in the heart of Mexico’s premier silver belt which accounts for 80% of Mexican silver production.

The Cruz de Plata Project also includes an oxide gold prospect (referred to as Capitan Hill) and two historic silver mines (Jesus Maria and San Rafael).

History

Building Long-Term Value Through Disciplined Exploration

Cruz de Plata has a rich history as a significant past producing, high-grade silver asset. The property is comprised of the original mines which launched the Peñoles Mining Company in the 1890’s – Jesus Maria and San Rafael, both high-grade, underground mines.

Initial production stopped around 1910 due to the Mexican Revolution, and the property became highly fragmented. Historical production grades at Cruz de Plata were 300-2,000 g/t Ag, 3-12% Pb and 4-10% Zn (from Jesus Maria) and 300-1,000 g/t Ag (from San Rafael).

Capitan Silver acquired the Cruz de Plata project in 2020, which marked an era of rapid and aggressive consolidation of the land package. From 2020-2025 Capitan reassembled the Cruz de Plata property through multiple transactions, growing their land position from approximately 2,170 hectares to a district-scale land position of over 4,700 hectares.

For the first time in over a century the Cruz de Plata project has been put back together, and the Company is now applying modern exploration tools, technologies, and methodologies to this rich, large-scale mineralized silver system.

Geology & Mineralization

Cruz de Plata is an intermediate sulphidation epithermal system

Intermediate sulphidation epithermal systems are highly coveted by majors because of their potential to be long-life assets with significant scale and tremendous vertical continuity. These types of deposits are extremely rare and valuable if they can demonstrate scale and grade. The Cruz de Plata property hosts over 21km of mapped and sampled high-grade silver mineralized veins visible from surface, and over 2.5km of drilled continuity on the Jesus Maria Silver Trend, the Company’s most advanced target.

Capitan has identified several prospects and targets at Cruz de Plata, including Jesus Maria, Santa Teresa, and San Rafael within the Jesus Maria Silver Trend, the Gully Fault zone, the Jesus Maria East trend, San Rafael West, Jesus Maria Northwest, Casco Norte, La Providencia, Jesus Maria Silver Trend north, La Purisima, and the El Tubo Hill gold target.

Additionally, the Cruz de Plata property hosts the Capitan Hill oxide gold deposit, on which the Company has published an Inferred Mineral Resource of 525,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 0.4 g/t Au.

*NI 43-101 Compliant Technical Report (2025). 39,795,000 tonnes at 0.41 g/t Au for 525,000 troy ounces. 0.18 g/t Au cut-off and US$2,500/oz Au.

Excellent drilled continuity of mineralization over 2.5 km along the Jesus Maria Silver Trend.

2026 Exploration

Capitan has embarked on an aggressive 2026 exploration campaign. The Company has launched a 60,000m, multi-rig drill campaign consisting of 4 drill rigs (3 diamond core rigs and 1 reverse circulation rig).

The Company’s 2026 drill program represents a 400% increase in the metres drilled in 2025, and will focus on:

Core and RC Drilling (gold)

Additional drilling towards further definition drilling at Capitan Hill and testing new gold opportunities on the property.

RC Drilling

Testing new high-grade silver targets at Casco Norte, La Purisima and Jesus Maria Northwest.

Core Drilling

Expanding advanced silver-mineralized zones on the 3.7-km Jesus Maria Silver Trend (including the Gully Fault and Peñoles Fault targets).

Geophysical Survey

The Company completed a deep penetrating, property-wide airborne geophysical survey in early 2026. Results further support the Company's model that Cruz de Plata is a large-scale, rich, intact mineralized system.
